Sam Morell will be attending the Southern Society for Coatings Technology Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville, Florida during the week of June 6th.
Sam will be teaching a short course on Rheology and present a technical paper on “Oxidizable Phenolic Resins.” These are bio-based modifiers for air dry oleoresinous vehicles including alkyds, oil modified urethanes, uralkyds and vegetable oil based varnishes. OPUs allow a formulator to lower VOCs while enhancing abrasion resistance, hardness, toughness, gloss, and fast cure. Here’s the lineup of other technical presenters at this meeting . . .
